Editing Your Tours Topic: 103

You can edit any existing tour at any time. All updates are done in real time and become active once your have saved any changes. Instructions for this section pertain to tours that have already been created. See Create A New Tour for instructions on how to create a new tour.

Edit An Existing Tour


 

Delete A Tour

  • From the Admin Menu main menu select Edit Tours.
  • Click the Delete Listing icon for the tour you want to delete.
    - Warning- Deleting a tour will remove all data, scenes and photos for the tour. Once deleted, the tour cannot be recovered.
  • Alternate- If you would like to hide the tour from viewers and keep all the tour information, select the button to hide the listing.


 

Modify Your Tour Listing Information

  • From the Admin Menu main menu select Edit Tours. Then select the Edit Tour button for the listing you want to modify.
  • Modify any items you would like to change and click the Save Changes button to complete your updates.

Overview- Tour Details
Edit specific detailed information about a tour. All information in this section is tour specific. To make changes, modify any information in the edit page then click the Save button. Changes are not updated until the Save Changes button is clicked.
To abort changes click the Cancel button.

This information is displayed in several places including the virtual tour, listing page and detail/flyer format. Some information is not displayed, but may be required to activate features such as Yahoo submission or the Open House feature.
 

  1. Listing Type- Required Field
    Use the pull down menu to select your listing type.
     
     
  2. List Price- Required Field
    Enter the listing price. No commas or $ symbol is required. Example: 350000 will be displayed as $350,000
     
     
  3. MLS#
    Enter your MLS number or any combination of numbers and letters to uniquely identify the listing. This identification can also be used to search and sort your listings.
     
     
  4. Listing Status- Required Field
    Use the pull down menu to select the current listing status. The listing Status will be displayed in several places including the listing page and the optional listing status feature on the virtual tour.
    Choices include:
    - For Sale
    - Sale Pending
    - Under Contract
    - Sold
    - Withdrawn
     
     
  5. List Date- Required Field
    Use the pull down Menu to select the listing date. This is generally the date the listing was first available on the market. This date is not published in any of the pages viewed by the end user.
     
     
  6. Description
    Enter the description of the property. This is the primary description of the property and will be viewable in several pages of your presentation.
     
    Be creative. Include a catchy headline, highlight the best features of the property, know your target audience and provide information to attract your target buyer. More suggestions on writing copy can be found here.
     
  7. Address- Required Fields
    Fill in the correct address information. Displaying the address will be optional.
     
     
  8. Listing details- Beds*, Baths*, Square Feet, Lot Size, Year Built
    *Beds and Baths are the only required fields for listing details. Beds and Baths are the only items that will display on the virtual tour presentation. All items will display on the detail/flyer page.
     
     
  9. Automated Open House Feature
    This feature will automatically display open house information and then remove the open house details once the open house date(s) have passed.
     
    By selecting an open house start and end date, your listing information will show open house dates and display an open house icon next to the listing on the listing page.

    Up to two open house dates can be listed.
     
  10. Show Listing Address Online
    Yes- will display the listing address to the end user in the virtual tour and listing page.
    No- will hide the address from the end user on all pages.
     
     
  11. Assign To Agent- (Not shown) Office Accounts Only
    Office accounts allow for setting up individual agent profiles. To assign a given listing to a specific agent, use the pull down menu to select the agent from the list. This feature will display the agents contact information and photo for the virtual tour.
     
    Any listing that is not assigned to an agent will automatically be assigned to the office and display the default office information.
     
    An agent profile must be created before the agents name will be displayed in the pull down menu selection.
